2025 RIDGELINE SENIORS
YEARBOOK PORTRAIT INFORMATION
Submitting a senior portrait is optional. The yearbook staff will include the student’s traditional school picture, taken by Leo’s Photography, if no photo is submitted by our deadline.
SENIOR PORTRAIT AND SENIOR TRIBUTE AD DEADLINE: October 28, 2024
SENIOR PORTRAIT SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Image must meet the requirements. The administration reserves the right to refuse a photo based on appropriateness or photo quality. The yearbook staff will do its best to notify you if a submitted photo does not meet the requirements for publication.
WHY ALL THE RULES?
A yearbook is much more than a collection of photos and stories representing events during a particular school year. It is also considered a legal document and may be used to prove citizenship, residency, and proof of identity.
The Washington State Department of Licensing will accept a yearbook as proof of identity with written approval from the school district. Because the yearbook is recognized as a legal document, it's crucial that each senior’s face is clearly identifiable.
WHAT ABOUT OTHER PHOTOS?
While we appreciate and celebrate our senior's right to express themselves, the senior portrait section is not the appropriate place for props, crazy expressions, or distracting elements. If interested, we encourage you to submit your personality portraits with a purchased senior tribute ad.
