Fall/Winter - Dance Team

The Ridgeline Dance Team is a dynamic and accomplished program that brings energy, spirit, and excellence to our school community. Throughout the year, the team performs engaging sideline routines, as well as exciting quarter break and halftime performances at home football and basketball games, helping to elevate school pride and game-day atmosphere.

In addition to their game day presence, the Ridgeline Dance Team is highly competitive. Their season begins in November and culminates at the State Championships at the end of March. In each of the program’s first three years, the team has earned the title of District Champions—an impressive testament to their dedication and talent. They have also consistently ranked among the top teams in the state, placing in the top three in the hip hop category and within the top five across other styles.

Team members train and perform in a variety of dance genres, including hip hop, pom, jazz, contemporary/lyrical, and prop, allowing dancers to grow in versatility and performance quality. The program offers flexible opportunities for involvement: dancers can participate in game day performances during the fall season, and those seeking a more rigorous experience may audition for the competition team, which requires a higher level of commitment.

At its core, the Ridgeline Dance Team is about more than performance and competition. The program emphasizes building a positive mindset, developing mental toughness, and fostering a culture of teamwork. Dancers are encouraged to support one another, grow as individuals, and strive to be the best teammates possible—both on and off the floor.
