Ridgeline Falcons Girls Basketball

Developing and sustaining an exemplary program will take more than a solid administration. It will also take diligent work on behalf of the coaching staff as well as, the players and parents within the program. The overall organization of the program may be the most important element in sustaining a successful athletic program.

An athletic program that has organization, an established method of communication and the ability to build relationships has the foundation for the program to be successful. To transition from a success story to an exemplary program, other elements will need to be factored into the equation. Such things as: boosters and fundraising, team practices, the coaching staff and their behaviors, the growth and well-being of athletes as well as, the development of their character will all need a plan. The most important thing is to have a well thought out plan for each component and follow through with the actions of the plan.

Practices will be scripted out daily by the coaching staff. Practice is a time for players and coaches to continue to develop and master their skills. The well-being of all athletes is the number one priority of all coaches on the staff. Whether there is a physical, mental or social concern, player safety will be addressed immediately after the concern has been identified.

Falcons Belong, Inspire, and Grow

Being a member of the Ridgeline Falcons Basketball team is more than just being a basketball player. We want all members of our basketball program to feel as though they Belong. We want to Inspire one another, and we will Grow as a unit in our game, and life skills. Parents are encouraged to participate in team bonding sessions and activities. During the season, we will offer the opportunity for each family to sign up and host dinner for their child’s individual team. This is an excellent opportunity for appropriate parental involvement. This also allows for teammates to see how each other live away from school and the basketball court.

In summary, an athletic program that has organization, an established method of communication and the ability to build relationships has the foundation for the program to be successful.

We are from Ridgeline. We’ll play hard. We’ll play proud. We are the Falcons!
