Falcon Family

In our program, we stress the importance of building a strong connection and foundation with our team members. We conduct many team building activities, such as post-practice competitions (Talon Tuesdays), team dinners, leadership discussions, and team bonding exercises to get to know every member of the team. We stress the importance of having the support and encouragement from all teammates. To us, this is what F.A.M.I.L.Y is:

Falcons

Always

Motivate each other,

Inspire each other,

Love each other, and

Yearn to be better!

Coaching Philosophy: Be the BEST Version of Yourself

Whether you are on Varsity, JV, or are at the beginning of your running journey, your participation and contribution to the team is what makes us successful. On this team, we push ourselves to be “the best versions of ourselves,” both on and off the cross country course. Cross country lasts one to four years in high school (or a little longer if you compete in college). However, the life-long relationships, leadership skills, and team bonding we acquire will last a lifetime. While on this team, we are developing and creating the best versions of ourselves, whether it includes community service, encouraging one another after tough practices, cheering for each other at competitions, and showing our Ridgeline Spirit!

I have attached some hand-outs below that explain our Team Beliefs/Principles as well as our program ideology. These highlight the key characteristics that we want to encourage as a program. We would love for you to join the Falcon Family!
