At RHS DECA, you belong. When you join DECA, you join a welcoming environment that fosters new friendships, and the chance to grow with people who support you and want to see you succeed. You meet and network with new people, gain confidence, travel, and compete in events that challenge you. You learn new skills by doing real projects and real work individually or with a team.
Last year we had 147 members and were proud to be the largest club at RHS. We sent 68 competitors to the Area Career Development Conference, 44 competitors to the State Career Development Conference, and had 5 members representing RHS at the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida.

Includes membership at the regional, state, and DECA Inc. levels.
DECA’s mission
DECA’s mission is to prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. This is accomplished through classroom instruction, project-based activities, and partnerships with businesses. DECA also guides its members with core values of competence, innovation, integrity, and teamwork.

Area Competition: December 16 at SFCC
State Competition: February 26 – 28 in Bellevue
International Competition: April 25 – 29 in Atlanta, Georgia

Meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month in Mrs. Fletcher’s room (E204) during both lunches
