2026-2027 Application Directions
The Ridgeline High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) is an organization that recognizes high school students for their achievement in the following four pillars: scholarship, character, leadership, and service.
Students interested in learning more about the RHS National Honor Society are encouraged to join the RHS NHS Google Classroom: jruxbdwq
For the 2026-27 school year:
Ridgeline High School students who are 10th, 11th or 12th graders (2026-27) with a cumulative 3.5 GPA or higher are eligible to apply. Initial applications are due on Wednesday, April 21, 2027.
New member application steps:
- Submit a completed RHS National Honor Society New Member Application Form (2026-27)
- Write, print and submit an essay (prompt is found on the application form)
- Document 20 hours of community/school service completed between June 18, 2026- April 21, 2027 on the Service Hours Tracking Form 2026-27
- Pay the annual $5 dues
Renewing NHS membership steps:
- Maintain a cumulative 3.5 GPA
- Document 20 hours of community/school service completed between April 2026-April 2027 on the Service Hours Tracking Form 2026-27
- Pay the annual membership dues ($5)
The Ridgeline High School National Honor Society Service Hours Criteria document, found in Google Classroom and on the website, outlines the criteria for the 20 hours of school and community service. Be sure to read the criteria carefully to ensure your service hours will count towards your NHS application.
The application submission window is February 1, 2027 - April 21, 2027.
Students will be notified of their acceptance into the RHS National Honor Society once their application is complete. Students and families will be invited to the NHS ceremony which takes place in May.
