Advanced Placement (AP) Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) Participation
Taking an Advanced Placement (AP) class provides RHS students an opportunity to experience the rigor of high-level classwork that can earn college credit when the accompanying AP exam is taken, passed, and approved by your desired college/university. AP classes offer students rigorous instruction at a national level while requiring students to meet a higher level of responsibility. Each course culminates in a standardized college-level assessment, or AP Exam that takes place in May of each year.
College Credit
Your AP scores could earn you college credit or advanced placement (meaning you could skip certain courses in college). Use this tool to find colleges that offer credit or placement for AP scores: AP Credit Policy Search
